Intependence Day: Delhi Traffic Advisory on Independence Day.

NEW DELHI: India's 73rd Independence Day is agreeing with Raksha Bandhan on August 15. On the off chance that you will go for the celebration, do remember the Delhi traffic warning. Because of security reasons, seven streets will be shut down from 4 am to 10 am: 

Netaji Subhash Marg 

Lothian Road 

SP Mukherjee Marg 

Chandni Chowk Road 

Nishad Raj Marg 

Esplanade Road, its Link Road 

Ring Road from Rajghat to Y-Point-Hanuman Setu 

Geeta Colony Bridge will be shut towards Shantivan and vehicles won't be allowed on lower Ring Road from ISBT Kashmere Gate towards Shantivan and from IP flyover towards Rajghat. 

Vehicles without leaving names for the Independence Day festivities need to dodge Tilak Marg, Mathura Road, Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg, Subhash Marg, Jawaharlal Nehru Marg and the Ring Road between Nizammuddin Bridge and ISBT connect. 



Backup courses of action: 

The north-south traffic should take elective courses from Aurobindo Marg, Connaught Place-Minto Road, Ring Road-ISBT and Nizamuddin connect. 

In the east-west passage, vehicular traffic will pursue elective courses of DND-NH24-Vikas Marg, Vikas Marg-DDU Marg, and Boulevard Road-Barfkhana, the traffic warning expressed. 

Development of merchandise vehicles between Nizamuddin extension and Wazirabad scaffold will be precluded from 12 PM of August 14 to 11 am on August 15. 

Between state transports won't be permitted between Maharana Pratap ISBT and Sarai Kale Khan ISBT from 12 PM to 11 am on August 15. 

City transports, including the ones worked by DTC, won't utilize on Ring Road from 12 PM to 11 am on August 15, between ISBT to NH-24/NH T-point on Ring Road. These transports may utilize GT Road, Wazirabad Road and NH-24, per delhi traffic warning for Independence Day. 

Courses of transports ending at Red Fort, Jama Masjid and Delhi principle railroad station will be abridged or occupied. 

Elective courses will stay open to railroad stations, transport stations and emergency clinics close to the setting of Independence Day work. 

For Delhi Metro, passage/exit at four stations of Violet Line - Lal Qila, Jama Masjid, Delhi Gate and ITO will be allowed from select section/leave doors during the function time and a few entryways will stay shut. 

Stopping administrations at metro stations will be shut from 6 am on August 14 (Wednesday) to 2 pm on August 15 (Thursday). 

The most effective method to Reach Red Fort on Independence Day: 

Inverse Ramlila Ground on Jawahar Lal Nehru Marg for transports drawing nearer from South and West Delhi, people on foot can approach Red Fort by means of Nukkar Faiz Bazar and Subhash Marg. 

At Mori Gate and Tis Hazari for transports originating from North, North-West and East Delhi by means of ISBT Bridge, walkers can arrive at Red Fort by means of Pul Duffrin and SP Mukherjee Marg. 

During the program to be held in the Red Fort, no cameras, binoculars, Remote Control vehicle keys, umbrella, satchels, attachés, transistors, cigarette lighters, tiffin boxes, water bottles, lunch boxes, and so forth will be allowed, the traffic warning said. 

Courses like Netaji Subhash Marg to Delhi Gate, GPO to Chatta Rail, SP Mukherjee Marg to Yamuna Bazar, Chandni Chauk to Red Fort, Dariyaganj to Ring Road and Link Road to Netaji Subhash Chand Marg will stay shut on August 13 and August 15 from 4 am to 10 am, said the Delhi Traffic Police.
